Professional enough to book. Magical enough to believe.
SWLA Santa offers a real beard Virtual Santa Call, an interactive live video call with Santa over Zoom, led by Santa Michael, a graduate of the Charles W. Howard Santa School with six years of experience as a SAG-certified Santa Claus, insured through Nationwide Santas (Policy 1888835). Whether a family is minutes from Lake Charles or five states away, Santa Michael brings the same authentic beard and real Santa Claus training to every live video chat with Santa.
A Virtual Santa Call with SWLA Santa lets your family talk to Santa live over Zoom with Santa Michael, a real-bearded Santa Claus trained at the Charles W. Howard Santa School, not a recorded video or a chatbot. It's a fully interactive call, not a video you watch: Santa Michael greets each child by name, asks about their Christmas list, and reacts in real time, the same way he would during an in-person Santa Visit, just through a screen from the North Pole. He carries the same insurance and SAG card behind every call. Because the call is live, families anywhere get the same credentialed Santa Michael, not a stand-in performer, whether they're five minutes from Lake Charles or five states away.
Virtual Santa Calls with SWLA Santa start at $75 and typically run 10 to 15 minutes, enough time for a real conversation without losing a young child's attention. Santa Michael asks for the child's name, age, and a personal detail or two ahead of time to personalize the call instead of running a generic script, backed by the same six years of experience and Santa School training behind every SWLA Santa booking. Reach out with your preferred date, time zone, and Zoom details, and SWLA Santa will confirm an exact quote and call time.
Virtual Santa Calls, starting at $75 · 10–15 minute live calls · Available anywhere
Families anywhere book a Virtual Santa Call, sometimes called a virtual visit with Santa, when an in-person Santa Visit isn't possible or isn't needed. Grandparents out of state use it to let grandkids speak with Santa without the travel. A family with a sick child stuck home in bed can still call Santa live over Zoom. Some Lake Charles families book a short Virtual Santa Call as a quick dose of magic before bedtime, even when an in-person visit is an option too.
A Virtual Santa Call can also be booked with Papa Noel, Santa Michael's Cajun persona built around the Christmas Eve bonfire-on-the-levee tradition Southwest Louisiana grew up with. It's the same real beard, Santa School training, and insurance on screen, just request Papa Noel instead of Traditional Santa when booking, which works well for families with Louisiana roots calling in from anywhere.
SWLA Santa is a growing business, and this section will fill in with the families who have booked a Virtual Santa Call as bookings come in. If your family has booked a Virtual Santa Call before and would like to be featured here, just let SWLA Santa know.
A few answers, straight from Santa’s desk.
Yes, Santa Michael's beard is his own, not a costume piece, which shows up clearly even on a Zoom call. He's a member of the International Brotherhood of Real Beard Santas, a group built around Santas who grow and maintain the real thing. Families booking a Virtual Santa Call get the same real, live Santa they'd see in person, just on screen.
A Virtual Santa Call with SWLA Santa starts at $75 and typically runs 10 to 15 minutes. Reach out with your preferred date and time, and SWLA Santa will confirm an exact quote.
Yes, a Virtual Santa Call is built for exactly this. Whether the grandkids are in Lake Charles or a family is calling in from five states away, SWLA Santa books Virtual Santa Calls for families anywhere, not just Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas.
Santa Michael asks for each child's name, age, and a personal detail or two, like a pet's name, a spot on the nice list, or a favorite gift request, so the Virtual Santa Call feels personalized rather than generic. Send this along with your booking request and Zoom details ahead of the call.
That's not a problem for a Virtual Santa Call with SWLA Santa. Just let Santa Michael know your time zone when booking, and he'll confirm a call time that works on your end, not just Central Time in Lake Charles.
Book early, especially for weekends during the Christmas and holiday season, since SWLA Santa's calendar fills fastest close to Christmas Eve. Every Virtual Santa Call needs to land on or before December 24, since Santa Michael keeps Christmas Day itself set aside. Reach out early to lock in your preferred date and time before the festive rush fills the calendar.
Yes, families can request Papa Noel, Santa Michael's Cajun Santa persona, instead of Traditional Santa for a Virtual Santa Call at no extra step. Just mention it when you book. It's the same insured, Santa School trained Santa Michael on screen, with a little extra Louisiana flavor.
